By : admin
With the announcement that Gus Hansen would one of the three front figures for the re-launched poker site Full Tilt Poker, we all knew that we could expect some great high stakes poker at the tables from day one. We were right, however the start for the danish poker pro could have been better.
However as high focus poker news on the 17th of November, Gus dropped massive $1,5 million in a 27 hour poker sessions. However, it didn´t start of so bad Hansen managed to gain a profit of $500K quite early in the day at the $200/$400 PLO tables, however after a few hours sleep he came back to the tables playing 2-7 Trippel Draw agains “O Fortuna PLS” in a six hour session and dropped $300K in that game.
From that dropp Hansen changed gear and upped the stakes by playing $2k/$4K Fixed Limit Omaha Hi/Lo tables and played these games for over 23 hours. The results was dropping over $1,4 million us in this period of time.
The big winner of Hansens swings was “KPR16”, who managed to re-cap his earl $200K loss against Hansen and later crushing him for additional $690K. Another big winner out of Hansens bad luck was “cottonseed1” who took the dane for $413K.
After this massive drop we haven´t seen Hansen at the poker tables, however we are sure that he will be back soon and bring some more action on FTP.
